Blog Talk Radio

New BlogTalkRadio set up for the Reba McEntire Network. We are going to start up the show soon, with my co-host, Janina Sandoval! We will have shows to keep you updated. We are also trying to get Reba McEntire on the show sometime to talk about her new album, 'Keep On Loving You'. We will also have her on to talk about her career. Here's a good idea I thought of. We will try to have Reba and Melissa Peterman on the show, so we can have them both on the show to talk about what it was like, working together on the hit sitcom, 'Reba'. That will be lots of fun. Stay tuned for more details on that. We have our first show scheduled for August 18th, which is the release date of Reba's new album. Reba will not be on that show, but we will definitely try to get her on sometime. This is exciting. Stay tuned everyone! We will give you more details soon. Thanks!

Reba Admits Stealing from Brooks & Dunn

Reba McEntire readily admits she took the title song to her upcoming album from her buddies Brooks & Dunn. But there's no finger-pointing going on. She laughs as she makes that statement to us about 'Keep on Loving You,' so it doesn't seem to be a source of contention!

"Brooks & Dunn recorded it, but they were trying to put more uptempo songs on their album," Reba explains to The Boot. "When Ronnie told me that I said, 'Man you missed it, that's a killer song.' He said he liked it too."

Then Reba dropped the bomb on her friend Ronnie Dunn: "I said, 'Let me have it.' He looked at me and said 'What?' I said, 'Why don't you let me have it? I'll record it!"

Once Ronnie realized Reba was serious, he agreed, but she told him to sleep on it to make sure that was what he wanted for the tune. "The next morning I called him," Reba remembers. "And he told me again that I could have it. So I went in and recorded it quick!"

Reba explains that she named her album 'Keep on Loving You' as a tribute to her fans. "I always will love them, they are so good to me. They stayed with me whether it was radio, television, Broadway; they stayed with me and I just keep on loving them."

The first single from the upcoming project is 'Strange' -- Reba's fastest rising single to date. She has just wrapped up filming a video for the song in Nashville.

"I've seen two or three versions of it so far, and I love it," she says of the video. "I hope everyone else likes it, too."

Future singles form 'Keep On Loving You' just may have somewhat of a different sound than Reba's fans are used to. She admits that touring with
Kelly Clarksonlast year taught her a lot about music and influenced her judgment in some of the songs she recorded for the new project. "When she [Kelly] was doing songs like 'Miss Independent' and her other hits, it was like wow! I had more of an open mind when I listened to songs this time. I seemed to gravitate to sassy women's songs with an attitude."

Reba say she and Kelly wrote together but none of the songs made it onto this album. "I'm gonna hold on to some of them, and we're still working on some of them," she explains. "I think she's gonna put one of them on her album."

Choosing different kinds of songs was a challenge to Reba when it came to her vocal performance in the studio. "When I am attempting to hit what Kelly Clarkson hits, that does take you to a different place!" she says.

'Keep On Loving You' will be in stores on August 18. Reba says she probably will not start touring to support the album until early 2010.

Superstar Reba's “Strange” Makes Highest Solo Chart Debut Of Career!

Superstar Entertainer Reba McEntire’s new single, “Strange,” debuts at #39 on the Billboard Top Country Songs chart this week, marking the highest solo chart debut of her career.

“Strange,” a sassy, tongue-in-cheek rocker about lamenting (or not) a spurned love, also earned Billboard Hot Shot Debut status and entered at #45 on the USA Today/Country Aircheck chart (powered by Mediabase).

When told of the milestone, Reba said, “I have had the most fun of my career picking out songs for my new record on Valory. To have this first one be the highest debuting song of my career so far, is just icing on the cake. I am thrilled with my new team!”

Reba debuted the highly-anticipated new single with a powerhouse performance live on CBS last Sunday on the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards earning rave reviews across the board -- from The Los Angeles Times to Entertainment Weekly.

“Strange” is the lead single from Reba’s first solo studio album in six years, as well as her first album on her new label The Valory Music Co.

The Secret Of Giving

Hey Reba fans. Read this article that is written by Rhonda Goss, a real huge fan of Reba and a great supporter. This is about The Secret Of Giving...

A little history from Reba "All of her nieces and nephews were born at the Texoma Medical Center, and she stopped by the hospital one day and introduced herself. We got talking, and she told me that she had been looking for a project to show her appreciation to the people of this area, her people. We put on a concert and a gala that year, and Reba raised $55,000 on the first go. Since then she's come back and raised more than $4 million. With that we've built Reba's Ranch House, a home away from home for families of critically ill patients at the medical center. More than 16,000 guests have stayed there since 1992. She has just been incredible for us. Her dedication and sacrifice has benefited so many people. And she asks nothing in return. Her giving—her talents, her time, and her name—has truly been a gift of love.

Now 16 years later over 23,000 guests representing 8,400 families have found the comforts of home at the Reba's Ranch House.

Now the dedication , sacrifice and time from her fans are helping benefit all these people as well. The Secret of Giving ask for nothing in return as well it gives the fans a safe place to give back to her that shows our gift of love and helps honor her band that perished in the crash of 91' who have played a very big part of who Reba is today. They will forever be in our hearts.

What a wonderful feeling!
